It's interesting to think of all the media where unclothed animal characters are drawn in a SFW way, and consider that this is what it might* "really" look like. Casual/non-sexual nudity is already such a foreign concept to most of us, and the way we rate media perpetuates that (most artists aren't going to tell a non-sexual story with NSFW nudity if it limits their audience to the NSFW crowd).

And yet at the same time, what we see with the null filter, is more or less equivalent to what they see without it. Their eyes aren't constantly being drawn to others' junk, any more than our eyes are constantly being drawn to others' ankles, or shoulders, or whatever. It's perfectly normal for them, while being sexy/saucy/scandalous for us.

[*] There are certainly real-life animals in which the fur does cover everything up---see photos of red pandas standing up, for example. The genitals in this pic are likely more prominent than they would be in real life by virtue of the low-fluff art style, so the "OMG junk" effect is probably overstated.

Personally, I've always head-cannoned that anthros can just fluff up their fur to hide things. It allows for both of these wonderful images to exist simultaneously.
