  • Yep, Seb’s gonna need some more details on all of that. Especially can’t gloss over the fact that Jayden knows of their situation. Oh, the panic in his eyes says a lot.

  • Wait, breakfast. Serah and Jayden went out to breakfast. Please let use view the conversation that took place during that meal in a flashback. ^^

    Or at the very least have Serah give a play-by-play account of it. 😕😕😕

  • I love the change on his face stating with the second panel:

    First something between sorrow and relief about her being back after a long time.

    Then he is shocked about Jayden found out about them. (And she still didn’t mentioned Morissa knowing that they date)

    And in the last, he seems to realize, that the reason for the argument in the treehouse started about the risk of being found out.

  • Seb's face, as he finds out Jayden knows about them both, is probably a mixture of surprise and fear.He's like "oh... fuck"

    Oh dear lord do NOT pad out this story any more than it already has. I enjoy it, but the pacing crawled and updates slowed down significantly.

  • Seb seems to be a bit more shocked rather than confused in the 3rd panel and now Serah needs to start all over, slower this time. I'm certain we'll be getting critical information from her conversation with Jayden earlier this morning.

    There’s probably not much to say. “We talked forever” pretty much says it all, we don’t need to rehash them forming a weird sort of bond - that can be inferred by context.

    Not that I’m opposed to the story going on longer, but I’d like a bit more time with the twins first.

  • No joke, THE MOMENT that I saw Seb's face in the third panel, I heard one of those "record scratch" sound effects in my head

    I do understand where you're coming from but I honestly don't want this to end, even though all good thing's must eventually come to an end. Love the story and pretty much everything in it. And even though Saturday Morning's is just getting started, the story will end next chapter. They'll be no more day's to use for the comic after Sunday Morning's.

    I guess you weren't here when we got only like 1 page every 1 or two months on average. Compared to this the current pace is pretty good. (not that I blame BK for being busy with other stuff)

    The lack of updates has nothing to do with story pacing, just BK getting busy with actual life things. They have a life that isn't drawing porn for us, and they're allowed to enjoy it. We've reached a slow point, yes, but that's ok, because it's telling a more complete story

    Author has a Patreon that he switched to the monthly income as hidden once he hit his "I can do this full time rather than another job" goal. He set it up as a once a week page for the comic, which is an easy pace for a BW comic, especially if that is your source of income along with a few commissions. That is what bugs me; he's making cash off these comics but slowed his pace. Cancelled my Patreon from him because of that.

    I'm not arguing against you choosing to cancel your patreon but I still believe that the current chapters have had a much more consistent update schedule compared to when the series first started. Also keep in mind that while his patreon goal says that he could make this his full time job he didn't and is still working his main quota-based job. Additionally from reading his updates with him and his family being sick, the storm and and recent technical issues I can understand that keeping the schedule has been a bit difficult in recent weeks.

    He was literally struck by sickness twice in a row recently, one of which was Covid. I guess it's rather understandable that he slowed down his pace at that period of time.

    Artists are people too, you know. They have their own lives and everyday problems to deal with so you really should rather treat them better than them just being a commodity to your every day free schedule. Those people don't owe you anything, you decide to reward them for the work they're ABLE to offer. Just saying...

    Who keeps adding the cub tag to these characters, they’re 18, BK even said so on his inkbunny.

    Outside information is usually not taken into account (Tag What You See). However even at 18 they still count as teenager and are thus tagged "teenager" which implicates "young". And as far is I can find anthro characters tagged "young" are also applicable for the "cub" tag.

    Edit: Maybe I should mention that I'm not the one tagging this with "cub" since I'm not 100% whether or not it applies myself...

    I have posted before that the artist said that they were 18. All I got for a reply is someone saying the cub tag stays. Black kitten has confirmed the twins are not cubs.

    Hi, i am one of the people who believes cub is relevant and on occassion adds said tag.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    TL:DR, they have the size, features, measurements, and implication of being younger than 18. And since cub is the furry application of young by it's own definition it *should* apply. The artists word means nothing in the face of TWYS. If it looks like a kid, it is a kid.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    Quote from that link:
    "-How old are the Mornings twins.
    You guys win. They're 18. The more people asked the more i enjoyed trolling/dodging the question and being vague. But I'm getting 2-3 messages a week asking now so kinda tired of replying lol. I just enjoy light trolling when opportunity arises."

    I am not calling them a liar, but at the same time i wouldn't want to be judged either.

    If the author says they are, then that is what they are in that continuity, but that isn't what's being called into question when i consider tagging cub, which by defintion is literally just the "young" tag with furry/feral applied to it, and oh look, the young tag is applied to almost literally every single Sebastien and Serah page. Which itself is a tag for visibly underaged characters.

    When you blacklist young you block ALL underaged characters regardless of species. When you block cub you just block furries/ferals. So if i wanted to see a comic with furries but not naked human children I would just make sure to include +cub and hope a naked child isn't included in the picture since there's like 100s of non furry species out there, but sadly there isn't an option i'm aware of for blocking non-furry young in general.

    Back on topic: In terms of TWYS, there is no physical indication whatsoever that they are 18 or over. But if he says they're 18, then that's what they are. TWYS still applies however
    .
    *Both Serah and Seb have the bodies of young aka underaged teenagers.
    *They've literally been shown on several instances to be far from the same size as any adult they've been close to. Such as
    here Keith is behind him and it's clear he has a head over Sebastien. They look roughly the same size sitting down but people tend to look the same size when they're slouching.
    Here Serah is clearly at chest level with a kitchen counter and a stove. Next page she is climbing stairs and is shoulder level with the hand rails.
    This one and it's parent post which people keep removing cub from a different artist but again, both characters are at chest level with a doorknob. I dont know many people at the age of 18 at chest level with a doorknob.
    Here Jayden is clearly leaning at the hip to be near the same chest level. But to me I believe Jayden's a big girl to begin with so idk.
    Literally any time they're at an adult sized appliance, they're at chest level with it.

    You could argue they're just short, but they're the same size as the other people in their own school they've met. Also the dialogue from the first comic in itself just doesn't scream that they just turned 18 and now all of a sudden have magical pants feelings for each other. "We're in high school now", "Most of the time i haven't had any problems but lately..."

    Not even to mention how soft and young their facial features are compared to other artwork from the same artist. I've seen Black Kitten's art of mature looking women and men. These two are not one of them.

    Now here's the question: Remove what black kitten said from the board, look at them. What makes you think they're 18 aside from black kitten's word? I'd be hard pressed to put them at age 16

    post #1177067

    Edit: Despite the websites definition of cub. I will leave it be from this point. It's really not worth the trouble.

    Thank you for bringing that up, however.
    Teenager includes 13-19. Since it includes 18-19 it doesn't automatically implicate the young tag as young is implied for any character under the age of 18.

    The wiki page for teenager says the following "This tag implicates young".

    Thats hilarious considering young says Adults that look young should rarely, if ever, be tagged young. If you're 18, you're an adult. The two tags contradict each other. Why even bother adding "teenager" at that point?

    Thank you for pointing that out btw.

    The way it was explained to me, is that the "cub" tag is for characters that haven't yet reached sexual maturity (puberty) but are too old for tags like "toddler". With that being said, that was over 5 years ago; and these days, I'd say that idea seems to have gone out the window. So, yeah.
