News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

  • Y’know, I was wondering what the Elden Ring equivalent of the Chaos Ring would be.

It wasn’t until I got it that I realized I would’ve gotten it for completing an equally excruciating set of tasks as the CR that I didn’t want it to be my reward for just about anything.

Thanks, FromSoftware, for ruining my trust in games again.

    also nice work dude(tte)

  • Seriously as soon as Zoryas gave me this fucking thing I just screamed. All that work, all the fighting, all for this adorable snek maiden, and this is what I get.

I honestly couldn't tell if I was laughing hysterically or sobbing uncontrollably cause of just how absurd this was

  • Thank you Zorayas, my beautiful Daughter, for this no-good, very bad, awful, horrible Talisman. I will wear it with pride throughout the rest of my playthrough.

  • It's interesting how people view different rewards in games.
When I got given it, I read what it did and it's description and realised she was holding onto it because it makes you take more damage...the suicidal snake maiden was holding a item that makes you die faster, because she wanted something or someone to come along and kill her.
Then when you refuse to kill her she thinks about her life, decides she doesn't want to die and hands it to you...it's the equivalent of her handing you the pill bottle.

Oh my gosh I didn't even think of this. That actually makes the reward hit so much harder.
