I'd wager it's because of money. Bronies, like furries, tend to have more disposable income. And with bronies being the new furries, what's stopping a furry from getting commission money from drawing ponies?

the outline on the teeth and eyes almost ruins the stylistic consistency. There are also a few spots where the balance of the colors becomes disharmonious and becomes distracting, jutting the eyes away from most of the beauty. Mainly the eyes, balloons, and the stuffed tail. Other then that the shading is breathtaking and with some color balancing would be the key focus of the painting.

To this day, I still wonder why everyone uses that specific word to describe MLP.. "pastel-colored ponies".. not 'multicolored' or even just 'colored', but always 'pastel'

I know they really are pastel-colored, but why is it always the one singled out trait over every other possible adjective?

They aren't all pastel-colored.
