MemberOk this reminds me of something that I'm annoyed about. I know that Opossum is pronounced without the first O, but if that's the case, are you supposed to use "an" or "a" to talk about it. An possum sounds weird, but a opossum looks weird.

MemberPossums and opossums are different animals if i remember correctly (i think opossums were the cuter cowboy hat wearers) but yeah AN opossum and A possum are the correct ways to say it
Edit: if you're writing opposum then you put AN opossum but if you're saying it verbally (apparently the O is silent) then you say A possum (i looked it up)
