  • She storms out on his painstaking planned and perfectly executed picnic in the tree house of their younger days. Ignored his messages all day and night. Then she suddenly shows up with 'The Plan' all laid out and expects him to respond the way SHE wants him to? I don't want to see him mess it up either but maybe he SHOULD lay a dose of reality on her.

To be frank. Seb ain't the asshole of the two of them.
She has her reasons for being shitty, but he's never even indicated he'd act in the way you're anticipating.

I suspect he’s going to reassure her, but reason out the “plan” versus a return to just a “brother and sister” relationship. Maybe…, maybe he’s got an equally good option?

Love Serah’s nerves looking frazzled with the quivering lip… nice touch.

He's never been an asshole ever in this situation. If we go all the way back to the start of the series and from pages/content throughout, Serah initiated the entire "relationship" by getting into the shower with Seb. True, he was the one to initially get "hands on" but he did try to give themselves an out by saying they shouldn't continue but Serah egged him on saying she was wanting him as he was wanting her.

And then later on while things were seeming to become legit serious and not just lusty romps, she continued to press Seb for his thoughts/answers to their situation and due to drama in her years growing up, she stormed out on him when he couldn't come up with an answer fast enough and ghosted him for a day or two. While she partly has her reasons for snapping like she did, Seb's been nothing but true and honest while trying to deal with all these confusing emotions/thoughts their secret relationships has been forcing him to tackle.

He kinda has a point by saying that from an outside perspective, they've really only been letting their lusty needs and desires lead their "relationship" for the most part and have only now started to think about what it all means and intales.

  • Seb is definitely on the right track here, talk with your sister. Be open and honest.

They've both had time to do some serious thinking on their own. And it appear's to have been thinking on the love vs lust as well. Am sure that Serah has thought on this also.

They had to dig deep within themselves and separate the feeling's they have for each other.
The feeling's of being sister and brother as well as the feeling's they have when they're intimate with each other.
Do they really love each other as sibling's and lover's or was it just lust hiding within their sibling bond.
They do love each other, there's no denying that. The question is, is it just sibling love or is it more.

I honestly hope that it's as sibling's and lover's. Will have to wait for in-story confirmation to know for sure.

To add to what you said about Serah initiating things, let's not forget that in the first few pages, she noticed Seb's morning wood and if this image post #2922255 is canon, Serah knew along and planned for the shower incident. Now we just have to see how things will end now that reality has settled in for them.

  • As I have been saying, if Seb says "No" right now, the comic is over.
Seb, right now, is holding the plot to move forward. If what Serah said couple pages ago was true, she will respect his decision and won't pursue this relationship (if it was the other way around, Seb would still pursue this relationship; since he was there since the beginning not only for the sex, but for love also and wants to make things work [unlike someone, just only recently]).

  • Think BK's pulling bit of a head fake on us with that last panel. Seb's been losing his crap worried about Sera, her whereabouts,if she still wants to be around him. Asking Keith how he knew mom was the one and overall showing this past week wasn't just sibling horizontal recreation. Additionally Seb's wording of "some people would..." tells me there's a rather sizable as yet unspoken but coming.

He's not being an asshole, he's being surprisingly responsible, but we still need more of his thoughts on this.

I'm sure he doesn't want to stop this crazy train, but instead wants to be a better Man for her and slow the relationship down.

I want to say that I entirely agree with you, the only point I would like to raise is specifically in the school's janitor closet she wasn't acting the best. I understand how seb must have been feeling through this entire "week" (few years) though so I agree with you instead of trying to pick the 1 bad example.

  • Okay this might be an unpopular take but, in reality this has only been going on for a week. A week, and while some relationships can take off like a rocket they can crash back to earth rather spectacularly when certain realities kick in. Just to list a few for them, they have no money or at this point means of making money. Heck Seb had to ask his dad for cash enough to buy a pound of grapes, some cheese and sparkling grape juice. Their social circle (at least locally) is shot. Outside of Morrisa most folks would frown on the relationship and in reality there would be a lot of problems that would come up not just among their friends but possibly legally let alone the legal issues that might come down on their dad. They have no transportation outside of maybe bikes.

Now working in their favor (if only slightly) is the possibility that they are half brother and sister which might take away the legal issues of it (again depending on where you live). It still won't sit well though with a bunch of other high school kids who will likely give them a hard time for it and I don't know if Keith would really be too thrilled by the end result either.

Speaking of their relationship it's honestly both. They had familial love at first even if they annoyed one another. Then on the first few days of this comic it was lust and horniness. It just was. However, when the prospect of a relationship crept up they reacted to the emotional side of it ... well the way they did and while I think for Seb it is more romantic I'm still not sold that Serah is 100 percent there, I think she wants to be but I don't know if she's there.

What they really need to do in all seriousness is put a pin in this relationship for awhile. They need to finish high school, get jobs and a place of their own (even if only for financial reasons) and figure out even if on a limited level what they want to do with their lives and how they want to go about it. It could end up being that this is just that crazy week they had as teens that they both know about but don't really talk about years later. It could be that once on their own things fall into place again romantically. But right now what they really need to do is slow down and chill out.

Sometimes when you really love someone you have to not do what you really want to do in the moment to prepare for a better future together.

Point #1- Money! Excellent point. You can’t support yourself, or a mate (and especially offspring) without a stable income.

Point #2- Even if they were 1/2 siblings it would be an issue. However, what if Seb & Serah had been adopted (not related by blood at all). That would free up most of any legal stuff.., except that they are under legal age of consent.

Point #3- The week has been all hormones, which tend to be switched onto high at teen years. We’ve all been through it. So it’s likely the physical gratification & their hormones are to blame.

I also think Serah’s really had an eye for wanting to know what intimate activities were like. So, the activities went from hormone driven to open lust and nothing flat.

But I’m with you, I think a severe stop and cooling off would work for them both.

She is definitely believable with a realistic personality. Except for that one moment in the janitor's closet she has always been dominant and controlling of the relationship (and the sex). Her words on this page are "...just speak from the heart" but her intentions are "...tell me what I want to hear". Not saying she is a bad 'person', she just needs to listen, really listen to how Seb feels and what he wants.

Well said! I hope Seb tells her that if she wants the relationship to continue then she has to stop playing games and come clean with him about her feelings. Quite frankly I think she has a lot of feelings she has to work through in order for her relationship with Seb to work.

  • Gotta admit... I'm thinking that if she wanted to hear the words of his heart, maybe she could have asked *before* she issued the ultimatum. She already told him that his choice was between the plan she worked out without his input or else everything was over. Once you issue that, the only words you can expect are yes or no. I'm curious about where this is going though. Frame 3 could be sadness, or it could be anger. Frame four seems to confirm that it's the latter. Is our boy about to assert himself?

I’m hoping he’ll assert himself, and somehow come off as a knight in shining armor that has an even better (and less risky) plan.

I also think he’s more likely to reason out things, while Serah’s been showing more of the lust side (of course it’s possible that even for this anthro Lynx species.., it could be she’s in heat.. which could explain a lot of this week).

Yes, that was about the only time he ever took charge and dominated the situation. The rest of the time it's all Serah.

As long as some "took the charge and dominate the situation" while others are "being controlling" there's no hope in this world for you, bro.

They’re both young and inexperienced. She rightly told him off and he has probably learned his lesson, especially after the tree house.
