Hey, could still be canon (if ya stretch a lot). It's implied B12 didn't die at the end, and the droids are free to roam the land. Murtaugh could get the jacket again, and B12's consciousness could be uploaded to another drone from the system.

I hadn't kept up with stray I had no idea his name was murtuagh that's cool.

Murtaugh is the real-life counterpart to the Stray Cat, so technically it isn't, but everyone, including the devs, call them that, so it technically is. Never really stated.
