What happened to Juvira?

I offer this information as anecdotal as it is based on a lot of assumptions because I don't know how to look up Brazilian records.

He has either been arrested or is dead. You might think those are the obvious conclusions, and you would be right.

All of his accounts (twitter, inkbunny, patrion, ect) went dark at roughly the same time which means we can assume that he didn't just get bored and stop working on projects. Usually when people get bored you see a trickling effect where some accounts go dark or posts get more spread out. All his accounts were fairly active until he stopped posting all together.

He did not make any posts about taking a break or saying that his life was changing as to why he would be stopping.

Brazil has a lot of harsh punishments for crimes. They also have a lot of porn laws. Because his patreon is still up it is doubtful that he went to jail over porn stuff. That being said there are a lot of non-porn crimes out there that you can easily be arrested for.

Brazil is also a very violent and very deadly place to live. From bad traffic laws to drug cartels to poisonous bugs and snakes to bad medical care Brazil is a pretty rough place. Anyone could die any day for any number of reasons it is just a lot more likely in Brazil.

There you have it. Straight out of "my first detective coloring book" my compendium of obvious knowledge and conclusions. Someone out there knows what happened and where he is, but I doubt t it will be any of us.

Considering today ( August 25) marks a year since this was posted I fear you may be right. Checked several listed contact me sites and all that were still active last had action around this date a year ago. Usually when a reasonably active artist is losing interest or life is getting in the way it tapers off over time. Nearly every time one just drops off the face of the earth it's usually either sudden death everything from traffic accident to just something previously unknown and they just dropped or they got some news and kept it on the down low out of not wanting the fan base to turn things all about their impending demise.
I'll still keep an eye on the gallery and would absolutely love to check in and see a new post and be proven wrong but sadly I fear this is the last post

Oh, that could explain it. This whole series was a joy while it lasted with so many good animations out of it. In which case thank you Juvira for the art, we shall miss your contributions wherever you are.

Juvira is probably in jail for what the Brazilian government would consider "beastiality". Unless he owed money to the wrong people, I don't think he's dead. Either way, I hope he's ok.
