  • I want to like this but that abysmal dental work is just too derpy to take it seriously. If anything, it reminds me of those funny grinning donkey photos. Not nearly as manicing as the original or even that Jeff the Killer-esque alternate version (which feels very try-hard to me btw)

  • Trying to make a dog scary is absurd.

It's still a doge. I'm still going to pet it and squeel, even with its silly dentistry.

  • SMILE.FUR? It's pretty eerie for a drawing, but it just won't get the same uncanny valley creep effect as the original bloody fake polaroid. Obvious artist's renditions and creepypasta just don't go well together.

Why do people dislike this? o.O It's a copy, yes. But it's not bad at all.

    because of this
Smile Dog, also known as Smile.Dog and Smile.jpg, is the titular character from the creepypasta of the same name. It is rumored that the original image causes paranoia and insanity from viewing it, and when the viewer goes to sleep, the dog haunts them in their dreams. Sharing the image with someone else, that is β€œspreading the word”, is the only way to reverse this. The original image cannot be found on the internet.
Pictures of Smile Dog usually show it with a grin that reveals its humanlike teeth, and is sometimes covered or dripping with blood. It can also be seen with other creepypasta characters, such as jeff_the_killer, who shares a similar grin with Smile Dog.
