Extended version of my old "Hyena on the Rocks" animation, with an added climax scene. This one gave me so much trouble that I can't even really begin to talk about it, rofl -- but I ended up having to re-render the entire animation three times. There's still some stuff that bothers me about this, but I'm really happy with how the climax turned out, and it's nice bringing a fluid sim to a much older animation that was made before I was able to figure out how they worked.

And hey, if you enjoy this content, please consider supporting me. Every little bit helps, and as a patron you get rewards such as 4k stills, exclusive angles, and access to finished animations up to a month in advance.

Thanks for reading. :)

  • Wow, it's really great to see you improving with each animation! Little tip that can help a lot with the leg movements: turn off IK on the legs when you are going to have them free move like that. It is very difficult to get natural looking movements that start at the base of the leg when IK is on.

Good tip, thanks! Yeah I really should have FK for moments like this; my newer models do have some FK support, so hopefully that's something I can implement in the future!
