Yeah. Somehow those rules seem to boil down to essentially “NSFW pics good, NSFW comments bad” in most situations, which is an attitude I find quite baffling. Coupled with their subjective interpretations, the results are what we see here (and unfortunately under many other posts as well).

Yknow you do make a pretty good point. Regardless there are rules and all anyone can do is try and follow their interpretation of said rules, and make sure others are doing the same.

just have a look at the cesspool that is the comment sections on most posts of rule34 websites.

it's clear why the rules exist, otherwise that army of roleplayers would come here to ruin what feels like a sanctuary in comparison
