looks like he's lying. the children off pokemon are only born of the same species as the mother. in the case of vaporeon, it should be an eevee.

Humanlike *and* Ground. The character N is rumored to have had a Pokemon mother, likely a Zoroark considering he was found with a possibly sibling Zorua sibling. That, and a human marrying a Pokemon was acceptable in some ancient cultures according to the 4th generation games. Zoroark doesn't have the humanlike egg group.

It's certainly more interesting (and appealing) if the rule is a bit flexible in these cases, especially the reverse situation. And in a world of magical blender genetics where wacky breeding pairs are par for the course, it's difficult to imagine any such rules being rock-solid.

Funny fact. In pokemon season 1 back when ash was ridiculous due to real inexperience not just for story flow. A boy was raised by a kangaskhan and referred to it as momma kangaskhan. In that episode his real parents were looking for him and they chose to live in the wild with their son who believed he was a pokemon. The kangaskhans in that episode also acted motherly to him. I believe the boys name was tommy.

According to Kadabra's Pokédex entry in Pokémon FireRed, there was once was a psychic child who simply woke up as a Pokémon one day.

Considering that Vaporeon isn't a anthro pokemon how would this work? I mean I'm not saying it's not possible but i figure that a pokemon that more human would probably have a better chance to breed with. Also did she hatch him or did she give live birth?

True. It not the 1st time a pokemon raised a child before.... but i have no idea if the pokemon movies would support this claim. Also, kid could have memory loss, mom cursed to be a pokemon via a device like bill's in the game/anime, or the kid is playing a joke as he said the vaporeon is his mom because its funny or is lying to get a shocked look on the other kid as a cruel joke for the evil lols.
