I always felt that they'd have similar mannerisms with cats, including glaceon and espeon.

I always thought of the eeveeloutions as a kind of fox/cat hybrid creature thing.

Always assume Umbreon was more canine with the sorta opposite relationship deal with Espeon, it being more feline and the Sun pokemon and vise-versa for Umbreon

umbreon is a fox. all the eeveelutions apart from Espeon are foxes. Espeon is Ironically the only one based on a cat and a mythical one at that.

I’ve had it in my mind that some eeveelutions are more like cats and others like dogs, while flareon and eevee are the most obvious foxes, and espeon definitely a cat. I personally feel like umbreon looks more like a dog but probably acts like a cat.
