  • Feeling sorry for that lone Tikbalang tag I did a bit of searching (not extensive) and while Wikipedia has some alternate spellings (tigbalang, tigbalan, tikbalan, tigbolan, or werehorse) the only tag with other entries is werehorse, and they are all distinctly western interpretations of a werewolf that turns into a pony (or a pony that turns into a 'were, IE canid of some type)

    In the event we start seeing more of them here*, my understanding (Wikipedia, again) is Tikalangs are: equine, anthro, tall, and creepy (or otherwise ill-intentioned). Alternately I guess it could be an aborted Philippino fetus sent back from limbo, presumably as a horse.

    *I'm a fan of creepy equids, so I hope we see more tikbalang art arrive.
