I dear to think those are actually scars and from the looks of them i would say Inflicted by multiple sharp objects Repetitive car/bike accidents or knife fights would be my safest bet. And judging from her attire. She is a gang member, also the barrel next to her dose suggest she is in a garage. So I wouldn't be to sure about the
disease theory and lean slightly towards rat biker/gang member theory. but that's me >^.^<

Dude, chill. He wrote "look deseased". I don't think she looks better with the scars, and can understand that people don't like it. I have no doubt they know they are scars, but that does not change their appearance.
