Solid animation, though!

Aside from the uncanny DomFluttershy face at 1:05, it's a pretty solid animation all around, nice details on the rubbings at the beginning... And even though it's more of a personal thing, finishing with a facefuck is very enjoyed, I was quite surprised to have that instead of some cum in pussy/ass.

surprisingly angel bunny partaking in demonic rituals doesn't feel out of character in the slightest

I like the animation but there's a certain spark missing.
The animation from this artist with Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry is incredible but they haven't matched that level again.
Looking forward to when they will again!

To answer: Some people prefer it this way. It's closer to the early days of furry culture (or what I experienced as such).
Some folks can't get into the feral side of things. And fully human you wouldn't even find on this site.
Be thankful for style variations. It keeps things interesting.
