Description
Well, the day has come to get Ruze's profile updated from ye olde profile of days long passed, and with it, all seven Generals have their own up-to-date profile sheets now. So, let's get right down to it, and see how he fits in the Dragon Clan storyline.
---
Name: Ruze
Type: Mixbreed Mountain/Desert Dragon
Age: 31
Orientation: Bi (Mostly gay)
Ruze's backstory isn't anything glamorous, but it isn't anything really obsure. He was born into an impoverished travelling caravan between his mother, a desert-race preformer with the group, and his father, a mountain-race resident of a town once visited by them. Much of his childhood was spent doing menial work for the group (cleaning, taking care of the animals, setting stages for performances, etc.), and he would be hard-trained to get his tasks done to the letter. However, a lot of free time would be spent sneaking out to the towns to broaden his knowledge. Needless to say, his kin were not enthusiatic about him sneaking off all the time, and he didn't enjoy staying with the group too much.
The day that representatives from the Rustonian Institute came to Ammon's home, Salaman, and Ruze arriving to win their grant was completely unplanned. His caravan was camped close to town when Ruze received word the day of their arrival, and snuck out one final time to try his hand at it. He would never return to the caravan again. With the grant, he could move out, and finally pursue his interests. He would be spend the rest of his youth studying and refining his skill, all the while, you could be sure Ammon was somewhere close by keeping an eye on him.
To help through his studies, Ruze enlisted in the former king's military; the place he would find his true calling. His promptness in accomplishing orders, and status as an institute student would greatly work in his favor to raise in rank. By the age of 20, he would already be leading his own division. His claim to fame didn't come until after the former King of Valden passed a few years later. A rival country, Sephrus, saw the former king's passing as an oppurtunity, and launched a force to seize Valden territory in the east. Ruze's force was immediately sent to repress the invasion, and repress they did. Ruze's combat strategies during the conflict could only be described as calculating, ruthless, but effective. His prompt achievement in recapturing the territory would earn him great honor from his country, and not too long after, he would be appointed to the rank of General by the newly appointed King Drake. To this day, Ruze works hard to bolster Valden's army into a powerful force to be reckoned with.
Ruze is a rather imposing figure. When riled up, he can be quite hard-headed, and unruley. And, although I wouldn't say it is outspoken among the masses, he also has a habit of "indulging himself" a little too much, if you know catch my drift. But, despite his faults, he is still effective and efficient in his job. There would be few who would dare to start a fight with Valden when this guy is around.
---
Some people like this character, some don't, and there's no fault in either side. Ruze from a creative standpoint was designed around western characteristics of dragons in mythology. They are supposed to be large, selfish, aggressive, and brutal creatures by those standards, and Ruze was designed to try to fit that bill quite a bit. But, with the last General down, there is only one diection for these profiles to go. The next time I get around to making a profile, it will be King Drake. Look forward to it.

MemberBi but mostly gay? That actually surprises me. It thought he would be mostly straight but won't say no to a dude. Interesting.

PrivilegedWhile I feel light I might have agreed at one point he's been leaning into dudes lately, or maybe rather dudes leaning into him.
