Update/edit: this was completely wrong, I forgot they’re blue blooded not cold blooded, it wouldn’t make any sense for a cold blooded creature to be living in the cold, pointing it out just in case some nerd tries to correct me first.

Even if they were cold-blooded, you could always just use a bit of friction to generate heat.
