Stolas having 4 is a very on the nose reference to him being a nerd and his vision needing the help, literally in the way people call others who wear glasses "four-eyes".
Hexaoptica seems an odd choice for 'Via.

IIRC, she has the ability to see glimpses of the future.

I think in this case, it's used to justificate why Stolas has his 4 eyes, when his father only has 2 (I personally don't think it needs a justification, but eh, genetics do exist in the demon world).
