also 1. Argonians do actualy come from a swamp, Black marsh (which is so toxic and riddled with desies only they can live in the deeper parts by virtue of there imuinty to such)
and 2. argonians are indeed known for being 'very' good with spears, and prety damn good with a bow too not elf good, but not too shabby either
and just to destroy the joke if you were trying to make one, argonians are amphibians, not reptiles (they can breath water)

is it true the Black Marsh is so , as he puts it "ridled with diseases" that only Argonians can be in that portion? I always saw it as the closer they are to the origins of the hist, the tougher they are and the more they heal. In one note I found, it discussed how the imperial forces tried to push very far into the black marsh, only to notice the voracity of the argonian attacks getting stronger, until the argonians flushed them out entirely.
