I don't understand how the furry moral code works anymore. The conversation is dominated by people who'd die on the hill for (art based) snuff, bestiality, Pokephilla, animal cock/pussy, rape, torture, non-consensual vore/scat art, but clutch their pearls at the very notion of Bambi, Cream or Spyro being lewded.

95% of all loli=pedo outrage I saw, at least on twitter, comes from people with furry and anime avatars. Plenty of them also sports different pride flags in their names. Which is fucking ironic.

The problem is that websites cost money, so you need to have some way to monetize the content you want to host.
The usual way to do so is via advertisements... but most advertisers wouldn't want their ads to be shown near any kind of porn, much less stuff like cub.

FA likely implemented this change because they either got pushback from advertisers or payment processors. That's how it usually happens, anyways.
