Or a Zoroark changing its appearance with illusion. They can do that, it's kind of their signature ability. Plus all changes keep at least some Zoroark traits.

Actually, they can make any kind of illusion perfectly, Including looking like people and changing entire landscapes. In the anime, which is non-canon, there was a Zorua who could never lose his tail but that's a different thing.

I meant in this particular picture, all of the different forms still have things like basic shape and the long hair with the bead.
