Yes, obviously, you missed le pointe. Most models keep it vague enough so they don't look so obviously like skin, the texture smoother. They end up looking more like they're plastic etc etc. if they can't pull off a fur texture.

That's just the way the model was made. Take it up with MayoSplash, the creator of the this model, if you have any complaints.
