the other one's about 3000x3500, whereas this one is only about 1800x2000, so I'd say keep the other until higher resolution PNG version is uploaded (edit: by oro97 themselves preferably, because just converting the higher resolution JPEG to a PNG will keep the JPEG artifacting, which is not preferable)

Keep in mind that JPG quality is 85 (low) and that it's chroma subsampled (meaning chroma, as in color, resolution is 1491x1750).

Also this is one of those artists who exclusively post on Furaffinity and Twitter only, hence why the current situation. They 100% certainly uploaded 2982x3500 PNG on both platforms, but because of how those platforms handle content we cannot get that file unless we allow posting patreon files here again.
Furaffinity downscales to maximum of 3.7MP resolution (8.3MP for FA+ accounts, which funnily enough in this instance, even if artist paid for FA+, their upload would still get downscaled!!! How is this possible FA?!?) but keeps the filetype nowdays.
Twitter doesn't downscale, but converts PNG into 85 quality chroma subsampled JPG.

e621 goes by detail, so even though there's slightly more brush texture visible on higher resolution JPG, actual detail is worse, especially with colors.
So yeah, we are stuck with these decisions unless artists starts posting on sites that do not fuck up the files like this or we get rule change to allow pirated material.
