He may have figured they're too old for the tree house, and he's admitted that the house is too small, not having enough rooms for the twins to have their own bedrooms. Them not being able to hear him is improbable from his perspective.

Regardless of that, i really hope that the plan c is to test out these Rocky waters to see how Keith will react to them just disappearing. I really hope that this turns out well for all of them. Even if there has to be some concessions made between all of them…

Probably just perspective. Quick math I counted 15 steps and that would only be about 10 feet and an average floor of a building is 14 feet

Also conveys the emotion! Like whenever a horror movie makes hallways way too long during the intense parts even though they realistically would never be that long

I think, since panel two does not have any sound-words describing what Keith would react to in the panel, it is the silence in the house that makes him rush upstairs. Remember last time Keith was home the twins were in their room.
