character being referenced isn't Misa Amane, it's based off of "Gothic Anime Angel" by Hiro Suzuhira in the early 2000s, who as far as I can tell isn't based off of any specific character

honestly thought it was misa amane because i could see some resemblance to misa and this character
i don't know how i could do tag for the "gothic anime angel" because i'm almost pretty sure there are none here besides this post alone

It's all good! it's the kind of image you would see EVERYWHERE in the early to mid 2000's but then after that it just kinda died out, only to sometimes pop up for a bunch of people to say "oh yeah I remember that, good times."
NGL, the only reason i know what it is is thanks to a tumblr thread I read like a year or so ago where the original artist re-drew it because they didn't know it was very popular for a wile over here in the west
