  • We need to seriously deimplicate gay -> male/male. I'm 99% sure that's why the uploader used male/male tag!

We'd have to remove alias, update to prevent removing existing ones (right?), and then change it to invalid tag?

https://e621.net/forum_topics/32987 This tag doesn't mean what people seem to think it does.

I disagree. Not sure what makes this gay. 'Gay' denotes to me that there's a male/male interaction.
However, please explain why you think this would be gay so I might understand what you mean.

I was implying that the artist/uploader tried to tag it that way, given some of the other uploads with this character. Not that I thought it was.

But you mentioned you 99% know why they've done that. Anyway, I've found my answer in the thread you linked. I think sexuality should be split out entirely and not just use 'gay' or any of those term because it will just result in people mistagging images. I think if we need really the sexuality in there (which again goes against the spirit of tag what you see), we need something like 'gay_(sexuality)' or something like how we have the 'lore' tags.

Anyway, that's for the topic in the forum, not for here.

Yeah, a little involved. So... OT for here: Surely internal_penis can't be that rare. I feel like I used the wrong tag, with same meaning. I could have sworn there was a tonnnnnn of shark/scalie stuff with that theme!

That's what the slit/genital_slit tags are

As a slit appreciator, I never saw anyone use internal_penis, lol

To be honest, it's like internal clitoris on cloaca or other scaly things. Very underappreciated tags. There's also cetacean tags related to species which slit applies to.

At least it's fixable, although this site is about all crowdsourced out at the moment. There's always 5000 more tagging projects. XD
