News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

    Borderline zoophile there ngl

You could say furries in general are if you want to go that way.
It’s fiction, like GTA isn’t making you more privy to doing real crimes.

  • WE MET ONE STORMY NIGHT!!!! Also, I would like to point out that this is just art. There is a difference in being attracted to fictional animal characters with whatever characteristics (human, etc...), and being attracted to actual animals.

I am not attracted to actual animals. I am attracted to anthro/feral animals with human characteristics. There is a big difference. Its just fantasy.

I have a dog but will never do anything sexual to her, just sayin.

Comparing sexual attraction to video games is kind of stupid tbh

A better argument would be that since no tests of the wolf's intelligence or communication capabilities have been done there's no way to confirm if it would be zoophilia.

To be zoophillia I thought it had to be anthroXferal. Guess you just know more than everyone else.

Even if it is anthro x feral, that doesn't nessecarily mean its zoophilia. For example, all the ponys, griffins, hypogriffs, yaks, changlings, and zebras in My Little Pony are tagged as ferals, and the dragons in the show are tagged as anthros, which would mean any relationships between (for example) ponys and dragons would be anthro x feral. However I'm sure we can agree such an interaction wouldn't be zoophilia. Or for example, this art (https://e621.net/posts/3280362) is a case of anthro x feral, however I imagine most of the people who veiwed it weren't even aware the feral dragon was feral, and hardly anyone would consider labling it zoophilia.

The most likely reason why these cases get by is probably because the feral characters present are anthropamorised to a degree that people don't see them as ferals. In effect, they flawlessly pass the Harkness test.

In this situation, with limited information about the characters present I find it within reason to assume the feral here would likely pass the harkness test. Granted, I have no way to unquestionably prove this however i'm giving zackary the benefit of the doubt, and until he weighs in ill stick to my assertions.

Not really. The brain doesn't separate what material causes endorphin release. Music, video games, movies, porn. It all triggers the same neurons.

IIRC from the actual original story and anime the characters are from, they talk and show humanlike levels of intelligence, so yeah, sapient.

It's a fine line, but I don't dare cross it.

The number of people who fail to understand this is quite unnerving.
Especially when compared to say, shooters where they say “sometimes it is ok to kill people, so your argument is a straw man”. ._.

That's funny because drawn, fictional child porn is not, in fact, illegal at all HAHAHAHAHA! You don't need to tell the police anything! :)

Well depends, in many countries such as Australia and Russia it absolutely IS illegal and as bad as real child porn. I believe the U.S. even has a law called Protect(?) that was once used for drawn media? I don’t recall.
Given that this website is hosted in the U.S., there doesn’t seem to be a federal against cub porn at least.
With AI now becoming more and more detailed, it is increasingly more difficult to discern AI generated from real.
