Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

BlockedThis feels... cruel. He doesn't deserve to experience one of the most traumatic and life-changing events known to exist just because he wants to know if we like kissing boys. BK needs some wholesome shit like cuddling with someone or something.

MemberMost "anti-furries" are just closeted furries. My friend used to always tell me how he hates furries, but then one day he invited me into a yiff discord server he made with his friends.

Memberpretty much that. every "moralist" is a closeted pervert. they just need the right trigger to let it all out.

Memberbetter to show them through art, than deny or neglect them like they never happened. If we forget, we are doomed to repeat our history, as we all rely on our baser instincts. People will always appeal to emotion rather than reasoning and logic, for it is the far more appealing option and path of least resistance.
That may not be what you wanna hear: But it's the truth. Not written by any victor, not written by emotion... Just the truth with no biases.

MemberWar. War never changes.
In the year 1945, my great-great grandfather, serving in the army, wondered when he’d get to go home to his wife and the son he’d never seen. He got his wish when the US ended World War II by dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The World awaited Armageddon; instead, something miraculous happened. We began to use atomic energy not as a weapon, but as a nearly limitless source of power.
People enjoyed luxuries once thought the realm of science fiction. Domestic robots, fusion-powered cars, portable computers. But then, in the 21st century, people awoke from the American dream.
Years of consumption lead to shortages of every major resource. The entire world unraveled. Peace became a distant memory. It is now the year 2077. We stand on the brink of total war, and I am afraid. For myself, for my wife, for my infant son – because if my time in the army taught me one thing: it’s that war, war never changes.
