To be fair, she thought it was going to knock them out. Don't think i would have bothered locking it either.

I mean he did have an auto save. So he could go back if he so desires. But knowing him. He's too powerful for her. He did defeat the Dragon King after all.

Of course it didn't work! You left the door open, meaning that he and the gas have a way to escape!

Well that's because it's not a trap. It's a generator room. It's designed to pull from and release Maha energy throughout the dungeon's various mechanisms. It's not a death trap which is where her mind is focused on, and it only entered her mind to possibly use it as a trap as he drew near to it given her belief that he is a Maha sorcerer.

We have to remember that Nah Nah doesn't fully have her heart in the game either from the get-go, and she clearly knows now that sealing him in isn't going to work. He already proved it with the stone door.
