  • I wonder if he emphasized the word "THEM" in there, would there be some sort of important significance?

Shit Nah Nah, this was your hero?

The scary thing is just how many souls can be drawn to what they perceive as strength. What they see gives a meaning, a dream, and a purpose to their life. How any man or woman can be so hateful, so reviled, and capable of so many terrible things...and be admired for it because it's power to them. Propaganda and the need to reclaim pride, glory, and to end one's own suffering are great motivators to believing in terrible people with even worse prices for their actions. The monsters were a broken people, cast to the wastes for eternity in what could be described as a living purgatory/hell. There was no hope for anything.

And then there came Lord Lylm Salantrin. A being full of pure anger and a burning need, finding a chanceful encounter with a demon and crafting fate in favor of the monster's returning to the realm of Endlen...for a deal. It was quite the bargain really and worth the entertainment of absolute chaos. Especially when another demon decided to make it far more amusing for itself. By giving a prophecy of humans being the dragon king's downfall. The weakest of them.

The dragon king was a hero to nearly every monster. He lead them back. He earned their loyalty, even if that would lead them and the rest of the world to hell for it. He's as powerful as he is terrible. And for many, that power is admirable. Admirable enough to ignore and even become a part of something atrocious for "the cause".

That's so sweet of you to say, thank you so much. <:) I just follow my feelings with an idea and see where it can go. I admit that I can often get lost in it, never truly knowing to what lengths it will go. And I don't always hit the mark, but I do my best for everyone. It's the least I can do for such kindness and support. <3
