HTTYD reference, I think.

Kinda funny, actually! This fits astoundingly well when you consider multiple things.

1. Latias and Latios can both fly as fast if not FASTER than a Night Fury.

2. Both have been known to canonically allow a human to ride on them, caught or not. Though, Latios is far more abrasive about it.

3. Trust and kinship are giant things to the both of them. It takes a heck of a lot for one to trust you... if you aren't the chosen one like every game protag.

4. DRAGON TYPE.

And finally, 5. Both nightfuries and the Lati Twins are adorable as heck!
