And now for the patreon mandated sex scene
Jokes aside, I wonder who here reads Shane comics purely for the plot. The writing is really good.

I honestly think most people are here for the story.
In most of Shane's stuff, the sex scenes don't ever feel like they're there for jag material, rather, it serves simply as a a natural culmination of whatever relationship is being depicted or as a way for a pair to bond over something.

Far be it for me to sit here and make such broad statements about someone else's work tho, these are just my observations.

Actually, I think the worldbuilding is good enough to stand on its own.
I would follow a story focused just in the world and scrap the porn entirely. And maybe, just maybe keep the romance part.

She took off her clothes fast.

Her clothes look like just one piece, sort of like a poncho. So I imagine they would be pretty easy to take off fast.

  • Again, she has a nice ass for an imp. I will stand by my statement on it.
Also the story and world building is always a good way to save the romance for later.

Might i reccomend pool 6507 'I can be a princess' from Frosty over hete of course. its got all that plus romance, and the first character we meet makes a cameo in this hete very comic! only downside is the last page uploaded i could find was from a few years ago. On newgrounds, at least.

  • Shane's writing is okay. Usually too sappy for my tastes. In this case I just despise the main character though. That guilt complex is extremely annoying. He took down the big bad guy with zero loss of life on his part and a minimum of conflict. Couldn't have done it better, yet he thinks he should be hated for what he did to the monsters he had to interrogate to get to the Dragon King. It's infuriating.

Guilt, like in real life, isn't always rational. There is always the what if?, if he was better, if he was stronger, he could've saved those close to him. Dying over and over again to the trapped souls in the dead bodies of your friends (who where the ones who gave him the strength to continue in the first place) really takes a toll on a person.

Then there's the losing control of himself and striking out in anger, something that might've gone against his own principles.

Guilt and PTSD is not always rational, and with the death and destruction he has encountered, I don't fault him.

So.... Everything shane made before like a year and a half ago lol? There was even a meme in the community that the day a shane frost picture was deemed "quwationable", the universe would shatter.

Now look where we are lol

You're quite on the nose, Redfield! I feel that something that is often not known or lost is that I'm asexual. While I have a great respect for all artists and creativity, I haven't really been on the porn scene up until now which can be a little intimidating when I'm not really an erotic person by default. So what does that all add up to? Why do porn at all, yeah?

You are correct in that I see it as a natural culmination, and to add to that, I realized that while there is no shortage of adult erotic works, there was more than enough room to explore and play with intimacy and romance along those lines. I had this revelation one night that porn could be a beautiful bridge towards emotional, meaningful, as well creative ideas. Whether that means showcasing a positive relationship, or playing with stranger couples that make you question god's design in us. Just doing something different, something strange..something with all my heart!

    The writing will always come first, yes...but it is and will continue to be my purpose to entertain and share time with you dears on this curious earth while I still can. Bless for having me and supporting me in this community. ;v;

I had no idea, yet it makes sense. The view that this is an art form like any other is likely what elevates it. Porn is frequently criticized for many things, not least of them being cheap plots and a lack of soul. Regardless of how real it is it feels fake.

When I plumb the depths of the internet I find the thirstiest places can be the kindest and most genuine. I scrolled back through your work and saw people aghast that you would draw a dick when you make thought provoking and wholesome art, but none of that's changed. It's presented honestly and that matters a lot to me. Keep doing what you're doing and putting heart into what you do.
