Does this poison effect lasts THIS long or he is seriously barely making it with his mental health?

I mean.. when you think of it logically....

People that had amnesia, Would have their memory's slowly come back to them.... as it's part of their memories and themselves... in the legends game Ingo still does the pose and also quotes "And let's follow the rail tracks!"

Then he would question why did he do that?
It kinda shows that he has little of his original memories..
But it's still the question of "Why is he in Anicnet sinnoh?" As Arceus Chose you the player and Ingo... for unknown reason...

That unknown reason is Gamefreak doing bullshit story absolutely not a single soul in the universe ever cared or would care about, I'm honestly surprised why they even bother anymore when in every single Pokemon game absolutely nobody ever cared about the story and/or plot because it was always so stupid even 10 year old me was like "well this is dumb", and your reply doesn't really answer my question... I was asking if poison is still affecting him or is his mental health really that bad, I didn't even knew he had some kind of amnestia like you mentioned

Yes Gamefreak tends to Ignore some Unanswered questions.. to as Why Ingo is there in the first place.. I had to look at concept art of Him for Legends Arceus.. and it shown that he arrived as the Same as the Player.. (Unused Cutscenes that never made it in the Final version)

He woke up without any memories of himself..
The only things that stuck to him was His Pose and words he use to do... including his Name and his Old and torn Clothes...

So He only has Little of his Memory's.. but he doesn't know his Brother Emmet...

But to answer the question as the same...

When you get amnesia.. Your brain slowly heals.. and it brings back Memories of yourself or make false memories in replacement... Ingo in this comic is.. Slowly Remembering his Brother.. (As they both wear the Same type of clothing)

So.. Yes and No.. His mental health is actually helping him by Remembering Emmet.. and What Basically happened before he was Sent to Hisui..

But it's unknown if the Memory will Make a False idea that Emmet abandoned him...

  • Guess I'll leave some lore right here!

It's not the poison affecting him. It's the desperation of trying to remember his past, and Emmet is only a vague memory. Ingo knows this person is important, and he's slowly going insane trying to remember who he is, which is why Emmet looks all scary like that.

Can't be more insane than Emmet must be.

The Pokémon community have theorised that Ingo was a failed attempt to stabilise the past (by Arceus)
