    He is connected to her

He looks on in horror as he hadn't realized that Nah Nah had taken her gloves off.

I know she didn't, but wouldn't that be terrifying if she had?

Dont really use your hands when working with materials, so i would assume that tge curse/trait wouldn't apply. Besides, I imagine that it would make walking barefoot impossible.

Alright, so a handful of dears have been asking about this for a little. From her taking off her boots but leaving on her gloves, we can make full assumption Nah Nah's, and imps in general, hind paws do not possess that melding ability. This unnatural ability of imps develops as they mature and is centrally located to only the front paws.

Imps cannot meld their paws to one another either. Something about their skin and fur. Which funny thing about that. Her gloves are made of very, very tightly woven fur from other imps and dyed, otherwise her paws would..you know. Just meld to it.

I mean, I'd have a word or two to share with evolution if imps could just demolish thrmselves with an absentminded scratch. Nice detail

Well imagine if you will in a world of magick, overseen and intruded upon by demons who can alter reality and fate itself that evolution may be a bit wibbly wobbly. Some of the monsters and other sapient species were a direct result of fate demons entertaining themselves. Heck, take the skeletons that are "born" in undeath but are not made by a monster dying. Or the coal people from I can be a princess who Yuu Eye both had a hand in forming and also using as tools for an eventual out to escape from his punishment of being given a heart.

I assume the coal people made a deal with Yuu Eye to form their kingdom? What was the fine print, perpetual war?

Oh no it's even worse than that. The coal people were formed by a nameless fate demon as slaves for an empire that has long since fallen, and Yuu Eye eventually came about to make a deal with them and give them "strength" which was the equivalent of enchanting a lake whose waters would turn them to diamonds.

In that form they were so powerful yet unstable to the point they were more like laughing, shrieking monsters that would create pure obliterating light from their mouths. That's when the cat kingdom got involved along with others to be at war with them. Ultimately their diamond counterparts were destroyed, and the cat kingdom looms over the lake, guarding it in an unending war against the coal people so they will never be able to turn to diamonds again.

The coal people don't like most anyone else but they HATE fate demons for being given power that brought them nothing but madness and death. They paid their price, which for Yuu Eye was corrupting and twisting them until they were far more a broken people.

Huh, so that was the lake that princess CB signed away in the treaty with ashly? I wonder how that's gonna affect things going forward.
