I have a few theory base on what I know from this comic.

1. There was a Lycan virus outbreak turning humans into Lycans around the world and all of them was very aggressive and even flat out murdering humans as a result. But tsukiko somehow had a immunity to the virus, stopping her from going completely feral.

2. I notice the thief said "I thought Lycan were wiped out last year".
I believe the Lycans was actively being oppressed for a whole other year after Ren saved Tsukiko, wiping them out. Ren kept her hidden for over a year out of public view.

3.Maybe the Lycan wasn't aggressive at all and people was just naturally afraid of them. Maybe One day a Lycan attacked and killed a human. Sparking a all out war with the Lycans. Maybe the Lycans can talk, but they don't much due to the lack of human interaction from living in the forest.

4. I hope Ren only died of car crash or health related issue and not the other way around. I know you all think it!

Probably but this could be an isolated thing in the nation of Japan or Korea? Like how China has concentration camps for Muslims. I don't think it's an virus out break as their would be rules set up to keep people from interacting with the infected and spreading it even further. If that was the case the humans that were harassing Tsukiko would have straight up killed her instead. I'm pretty sure most of them would be armed with weapons, (knives, poles, bats, not guns tho) and go killing/hunting them down. I don't think it started an all out war but rather exposed their discrete society to humanity which caused an international fiasco debating whether or not they should have the same human rights. God forbid they have something similar to the KKK where they believe lycans are just nothing more than animals

do you think they have the ability to understand animals like N from Pokemon or The Deep from The Boys? If so then they have a lot moral boundaries to go through before choosing I can only assume as straight up considered cannibalism. The one comic panel where she strikes the meat out of Ren's hand when she has her flash back to I can only assume is a slaughterhouse.

I think he was probably killed in a violent hate crime. We saw at the beginning how he was treated for telling people to stop harassing her. I can’t Imagine what they would do if they found out he was letting her live at his house. Probably something akin to the KKK in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

description suggests a continuation? only been 10 days, i home this all is a nightmare and Rin is ok
