Except for the part where it's an AK47. The Stg44 looked similar, yes, but still very different. First off, no wood on the barrel, only stamped metal. The AK in the pic has a wood foregrip.

You guys are clearly in need of clarifications. This is in fact a colorized photograph from the Battle of Kursk. Anachronistic weaponry and other various anomalies are caused by distortion of the spacetime continuum which in turn resulted from FUCKING BEAR CAVALRY HOLY SHIT

AK-47 (Avtomat Kalashnikova, model of 47.) is an Russian weapon, too. Only MP40 is "random".

Numerical superiority, not a better tank, don't get me wrong, the T-34-76 had it's moments, but when you look at how many tanks Lost versus tanks killed, the numbers are staggering. One major problem is that a vast majority of Early T-34s were rolled of the lines uncompleted, some even drove out of the factory line without gun-sights and radio's, if the numbers would have been even during the Eastern campaign, the Germans would definitely have won. Not that I would have wanted then too =P

Im no Russian nationalist but the t-34 was a better tank due to the fact that it was easy to make, had a very good balance between firepower and armour, wide treads so that it can drive over mud roads with little problem and the fact that it was easy to manufacture. Sure the germans designed tanks that were of better quality, but those tigers, panthers, and panzer 4s were all hard to manufacture and hard to maintain, hell the tiger probably would never make through mud due to its enormous weight. But yes i do agree with you on all points.

Why not? if they had thousands in ukrain would not have died of hunger, the Berlin wall would not have existed, the cold war would have never happened, i doubt Germany would have given nuke tech to china. People always go on and on about how bad hitler was (and for some of the part they are right he did do some bad things) but when put next to stalin... he's a bloody angel! unlike stalin who is a blood cored angel. if it was a few thousand jewish people, or a few million others... i think id know which id prefer to have won it.

Personally? I'd prefer no benign conflict at all.

It was a pointless war, I refuse to justify either side of it, by any means. I don't sanction the actions of any nation during that period of time, it was a war that turned average men into mass murders, took the lives from innocent youths and burned cities to ash.

There is no small pictures in war, the grand scale of it would drive you mad if you considered even a fraction of wrongs done.
