MemberThe size difference may be a slight issue here. Unless puppets don’t have organs? But if not, where did the milkshake go?

MemberThe larger narrative and nature of 882 Puppet Avenue, while not explored upon in this short-form story, is one of curiosity, bafflement, and even defiance to the natural order of the world as we measure and understand it. Puppet Avenue is a location whose focal point and contained radius produce its own world logic that is both fluid and chaotic beyond what can be calculated and therefore cannot be anticipated.
In simplistic terms, Puppet Avenue is a magical place with cartoon logic that changes and rebuffs general adult perspectives or reasoning as it instead goes off a child-like perspective which seems to fuel its continued existence.
While outside its radius or behind closed doors, more adult perspectives and elements come out, the underlining elements which compose its characters and nature change as if on an unconscious whim which befits the given situation. This is all to say someone's gonna get that nut and not regret it.

MemberIs 882 Puppet Avenue an SCP?

MemberI'm not really familiar with the SCP foundation or its lore, but the main influence on this story outside Sesame street and the Muppets is the wonderful world of Richard Scarry, and an episode from Twilight zone: Next stop willhoughby.
I'd say I see it similar in light to Alan Wake and Control, which deals with AWE's that are breach points from outside influences and alter specific locations to a degree on many levels. The world of 882 Puppet Avenue parallels our own, timeline wise, but the events of the street's arrival was spontaneous. The world isn't so much ready for this, and it draws a lot of curiosity, awe, love, and fear in response (We can see human's as Tom and others who live on Puppet Ave). The location also rejects individuals with specific mindsets (cynical, harmful, and too adult to accept it) that when attempting to enter, are blinked to the other side outside it. This reality altering event occurred at the same time kids shows such as Sesame Street began to air towards the late 1960's-early 1970's and is centrally located in the United States in the state of Washington.
There are no other formations or aberrations of significance elsewhere in the world at least on shared documentation.

Memberhonestly, it's poetic horror, whether simple or complex.
take mal-o for example (most prominent example on this site), she's the embodiment of being alone and desperate. or rather the "cure" to it. she's technically a dating app but she posts real world images of the places you've been, and those get closer and closer to your location by the hour, eventually showing up in the places you are exactly or just were. (the reason there's an scp 1471-a tag is because that's mal-o's physical embodiment which is a by-product of the app.)
this could honestly classify as an scp if you wanted it to, but that inspiration is great as well.
(sorry for those who wnted to keep the illusion, and to you shane if you would have rather not know this.)
