That might just be my style, they're not intended to look alike xD They're both handsome dudes though B)

I love how innocent Aspen still looks; he's still cute even as a Sneasler :3.

Although I have to wonder; why does Aspen only have 2 claws instead of three? His claws look more like sneasel claws that are the same color as sneasler claws.

Aspen is still in between evolutions, so half Hisuian Sneasel and half Sneasler!

I always loved the idea of Pokemon gradually evolving from one species to another, rather than the evolution happening immediately.

I’ve had this idea for a while too and it’s one of my favorite concepts. Glad to see a great artist nail the art so well and by god does it look amazing!

Their names… they remind me of Unova’s cities; Nimba-Nimbasa, Icarus-Icirus, Aspen-Aspertia
