hasbro really dropped the ball as they easily had the best chance to reform chrysalis and make her a sympathetic villain by instead of making her evil, she was a doing what she did out of desperation as she greatly cared for her subjects but was force to invade equestria as her subjects where starving and needed love for food. maybe when they reform its through a spell or ritual long forgotten or maybe why they look like they did was because of a curse from a past queen?
