MemberWell, I usually see it around in FurAffinity. I didnt look too much into it but from what I see it's a character auction where people sell the rights to own a character (Note: that is only my guess). Seems to work out in FA quite successfully, I assume its because on that site it's easy to get to know others and know what characters originally belonged to who and such. idk.
