I feel that. Don't get me wrong, my parents did at least try some of the time, but I was always secondary priority to other things, and a lot of the time I just had to learn to figure things out alone.

True, I won’t say that’s what a mother should do, because everyone has their own situations, so the choices differ. In this case, she did her best, although she could have send a message before sending Amon to deliver the “Great news, everyone!”

Not alone, there. My parents are both garbage human beings. One is a diagnosed narcissist, the other was a threat to my life until I held him at gunpoint for the cops. Much prefer Amon's parents. They seem great.

They are both so cute! Especially Monique, and Kyra is so big. No wonder these two were a good match <3
