Like, the guy just wanted love, but also he corrupted 5 people, potentially murdered a guy, stole from him and his pokemon, and got said pokemon shunned by everyone for who knows how long after she was just getting back what was hers

Pecharunt caused the people he wanted more love from to become greedy, thus causing its own downfall. I don’t feel bad for it at all. You reap what you sow. Ogerpon wanted her masks back.

This feels like what should've happened: a new Ogerpon Form with Grass/Poison typing earned after facing down Pecharunt alongside us as a way of showing how it finally surpassed Pecharunt and its Loyal Three by taking their powers and making them its own. I wonder what that mask would look like?
