Using the majority of today's human-centered reality as a reference point, we must conclude this to be female. Considering how her form is anthropomorphic in nature, thus inspired by the human form, she will follow human rules.

Unless you're a tentacle monster or a starfish alien, there is no ambiguity in this matter. But feel free to challenge the status quo, if you have the means to do so.
