All the attention on the troll aside, this is a pretty terrible piece of art. I'm sorry but someone needs to say it, this is a prime example of shiny, substance-less furry porn.

The characters are sitting around like frozen mannequins, blank stares, not interacting, poses straight from porn pics, wooden and lifeless. There's no chemistry or intensity or feeling, and they have the same lifeles, 3/4 expression, mirrored and recolored.

It's a waste of talent but people in this fandom recoil from critique so artists get away with murder.

:c I'm sorry if you don't like it. The commissioner asked for those specific poses and them to be sitting that way with the background. I can't really help that there isn't any interaction between them when it was what was asked for.

As I said,it's just a waste of your talent. You're real good, so I think you can be choosy about your subject matter, material and the specifics of the commissions you take. This does better for you as an artist too, because it puts the control in your hands. Don't be a tool for someone else's terrible idea, don't let people take advantage of your skill. There's far too much of that going on. You will also burn out quickly if you aren't drawing what *you* you want to see, and I know you have better artistic sense and ability than this.

I don't want to hurt feelings, I know you put work into this piece, but you can and should do better.

I always try my best, and I'm still learning.

I really can't afford to be really picky about who I take on for a commission right now, and I had no problem with drawing what they wanted. It was their choice of content and they paid for it. I'm not going to dictate people's ideas and refuse service just because someone unrelated finds the idea "bland" or "terrible", that would be unfair.
