I mean, I wouldn't call it love, just general courtesy and respect. You don't necessarily have to be in love to have basic respect for a sexual partner. But yes, it is a very good thing for him to do that.

Perhaps, but it’s STILL called “lovemaking” for a reason, as the pleasure behind it, wouldn’t be the same if we couldn’t experience the feel-good aspect of it.
