    That's just what I see everyone else doing with deleted posts. I did do that with the vaporeon blender post, since trying to quote it all was a nightmare.

    People do that because it used to be that you couldn't view comments on the deleted posts, and they either don't realize it's changed or refuse to accept that it's better to not have a giant tower that enters everyone's "mentions me" list.

    Oh, that makes a lot of sense. I've only just joined 2 years ago, and I didn't do very much most of my first year signed up here, so I have no idea how e621 used to work, but I'll certainly do that instead.

    I kinda wish the staff integrated an automatic comment transfer feature, or even just automatically linked to the original post to view the comments or something, that'd be useful.

    Nah, It's nintendo's netcode, it is so God-awful. They should be doing server based not peer to peer which doesn't work very well for this set up.
