I think it's just really well done. Maybe the artist used tweening, but they used it as a legit part of their process.

Funny thing is the people with Palsonas have been (for lack of a better word) much more chill about the situation and much more welcoming than the people defending either game. I made friends with a person with a Blazehowl sona and was even invited to a Palsona themed Telegram as an "honorary Chillet."

There's no need to fight or insult each other over what's 'better' when both games and their critters can make us happy. Let's just go for a walk together.
