It's simple. Everyone Assumed Lynn was male, but it was never confirmed by Lynn or anyone who knew her. Even the main characters thought she was a male. which is probably why Alaric made her his servant. Tomboy enough to look male, nearly a perfect visual match to look like his old self, and female just in case this hypothesized body switch worked, he could be female and use it to be with Keith. (or at least to mess with him) It't truly diabolical it is.

In this context Alaric was speaking, not Lynn. All his life he has been male, so even though he is in a female body now, he still refers to himself as a male hence=Manservant understand?

Are you talking about it being uploaded on April 1st, because it said on the top of the page that "No April Fools filler this year. Instead, enjoy this double update to make up for missed days!". It seems unlikely for Tom to make a "double post" for April Fools. He would also have said April Fools somewhere on the page like he has in the past. Also this would have had to have been extremely planned out. On the homepage, notice that Lynn has one eye closed, the same eye that is completely grey when Alaric opens his eye. This little touch that has existed on the 10th anniversary picture would not have been added for an April Fools joke. Then again, why is Lynn even on the !0th Anniversary picture anyways? She wasn't a major character. This was foreshadowed as an actual event in the comic.

Seriously? I logically explained why it's canon and not an April fools joke. This has nothing to do with what I want or don't want. It is ,of course, still possible for this to be an April fools joke, though just very unlikely. The next page should reveal this. Even if it is an April fools joke this still should have been canon. Tom Fischbach has already brought people back from the dead before so it makes sense for him to do it again. This would also open up to a new and very interesting plot in the story. It is a plot that Tom is likely to want to write, especially when he has such a hard time killing his characters.

This is a completely good point, and I'm sure that this character would play an important role in the story later, but why exactly do you think Tom included the character to begin with. He hasn't really evaluated on this characters personality and hasn't really shown the character either. Tom plans a lot on what will happen in his story, sometimes for plots years before he writes them. Honestly though, I actually do hope that this is an April fools joke because I am curious about the actual character and their personality.

Well, Keith leaving isn't normal anyway, he's supposed to be an Ambassador, but they normally only leave if the king requests it. Instead, Keith asked to leave for his own reasons, and the King sent Lynn as an Adviser.
The reason Lynn appears in the 10th Anniversary Banner, is well, it is just everyone on the ship.
So far Maddy has been in about as many strips as Lynn has, and she's in the banner.

Trying to figure out how the hell he knew he was going to die, and then transfer his spirit to Lynn....

Nope, Its for real, its cannon. If you have noticed, the updates, Tom has been VERY inconsistent in the last two weeks. He's been too busy to draw so delays in updates and even commissions. He honestly had no time to make a joke comic this year but all in all it worked out perfectly.
I think the biggest joke here is that Tom posted a str8 forward update of the comic, (a double update to make up for the days he's been afk) and now everyone is fighting over if its a joke or not. Low and behold you are all arguing over it. Damn Tom is devious. he didn't even have to make a April fools joke to get us, yall fell right on on your own paranoia. Lets be grown up about this. Tom never reads these comments. They are beneath him. He has the comic, school, and commissions to do. The last think he cares about is a bunch of perverts arguing over his characters and story line, on a back alley furry porn site.
The only thing he reads is his forum, his emails, and occasionally the deviant art comments. But he doesn't scour porn sites just to see peoples opinion of his content
The only possible way Tom would even know about these comments are through his close friends (Like Slow-Fag) who come on the site to regularly and to post his art and he MIGHT see the comments and he MIGHT tell Tom, or if some fan emails him about the comments or posts it on his forum. All of which are rare and highly improbable.
Now deal with the logic and let go of the conspiracy thinking jeez -_-
