Except for the fact that it's a positive virus and not a negative one.

Well, it is a good thing for pokemon. I don't think anyone knows quite what it does to trainers.

  • I loved this comic, good story, beauteful umbreon and good draw style. Excelent, i hope the creator make more like this. (Lucario, Arcanine, Charizard, Garchomp or Lugia will be nice for the next comic)

It makes them thrice as strong, as twice as powerful for a day.

Step 1: Fuse Pokérus and the common cold to get hundreds of different versions.
Step 2: You have become a God.

....woulda sucked if umbrion evolved while he was..... xD

into what umbreon dosent have a stage 2 (in tcg terms the evolution lines go basic for those that have not evolved stage 1 for those that have evolved once and stage 2 for those that have evolved twice) or a mega so if she did evolve during that it would be into a fakemon

Yeah... uh, why don't you stop over at Bad Dragon's website and buy something. I'm sure if you throw them an extra twenty they'll write "Umbrion" on the side in Sharpie.

I remember a discussion under one of redimplight's comics about this that kinda made sense to me. Since pokemon trainers leave home just before puberty and are on the road without human interaction most of the time, it's likely that a lot of them have their first sexual curiosity with the pokemon that they've grown so attached to. Pokemon are at least semi-sentient, so it's probably not as taboo as beastiality if they can make it clear that they consent to it. It'd likely still be illegal to do anything like that in public, but adults in situations like this might just let them have their moment (although they'll most likely get a bit of 'the talk' before they leave). I made the Pokerus joke, of course, but unless it's revealed humans and pokemon are genetically compatible, there's no big issue with a 'live and let live' attitude towards Pokephilia.
Although, hopefully, the parents who let their kids make thier own way fresh out of elementary school have the foresight to give them some instruction so this doesn't happen.

Considering their entire society is based on pokemon it's hard to say just how 'accepted' pokephilia actually is. I mean it definitely happens even in the comics it's lightly tossed in there *see tentacrual bath* But with the sheer amount of fetishizing pokemon in the most mundane aspects of life it seems hard to believe that it isn't at least tolerated in some sense. All pokemon in general understand human speech and some can communicate. There is even a classification for humanoid forms or just pokemon that can transform flawlessly. So I guess the farther down the line you get from human traits into the more beast-like traits is where the line gets a little blurred, but hey if a warlord and skitty can be a match in pokemon who the hell really knows

  • I love it. If it wasn't for the wrong anatomy and physiology this would be the perfect comic. I would love to see more of this artist's work! :-*

Why did they suddenly switch sides on the bed?owo

Because it's assumed that an unknown amount of time passed between panels before the nurse checked up on his umbreon, and in that unknown amount of time, they tossed and turned like anybody else would when they sleep at night.

    Nurse Joy's clueless.

I'm sure she has a pretty goddamn good clue what's going on, and just doesn't think negatively of it. Smart as a whip, those ladies. :3

  • The head of his dick is backwards throughout the entire comic and it looks weird at certain points, but not bad otherwise.

Sentient or not, people will still see this as some kind of deviation. I bet, even if we got sentient beings in real world, people would mind such things anyway. Because. Because people are basically biased about every single thing that exist in the world.

They are not semi-sentient, they are totally sentient, it’s also canonized that pokemon and humans have loving relationships like marriage, reading this humans are sexually compatible with Pokémon in the egg group Human-like is kind of like humans are kind of Pokémon
